“Julie was an absolute ray of sunshine to work with. Prior to our shoot together, we both discussed exactly the kind of style we wanted to achieve and Julie was really interested in what ideas I had — as a model I feel like this is so important because if a photographer doesn’t show interest in what you want, it can make you feel a bit nervous. Knowing that Julie was keen to listen to me made me confident that our shoot was going to run smoothly and also made me super excited for it
When shooting, Julie was so encouraging and very patient. Not only could we have general chit chat (because she’s so down to earth), but Julie also kept shouting out compliments to me when my shots were being taken e.g. ‘beautiful!’, ‘you look gorgeous Nancy!’, etc. This gave me HEAPS of good feelings and definitely spurred me on throughout our shoot.

Working with Julie is an absolute honour. A passionate creative, Julie is dedicated to making magic and she definitely succeeds in every way!
When I first worked with Julie I was super nervous to meet such a talented person, but she welcomed me with open arms and a hot cup of tea as we talked about our concept. As a model it’s rare to find someone who also takes your ideas on board, so it was a pleasure to bounce off Julie to create our dreamlike shoot!
During the shoot Julie was one of the nicest photographers I’ve ever worked with, always checking how I was and snapping diligently to get some wonderfully professional shots! Together we really created something beautiful in a short space of time, and I am forever grateful for working with her.
Not only this, but Julie’s edits are so delicate and precise they are pictures I am going to be using for a very long time!
